I know that one of the most nerve-wracking things to do as a new parent, amongst the millions is giving your precious one a bath.  You are petrified, nervous, anxious and just plain scared.  It’s nice when you can feel a bit re-assured that there is no need to panic or have half a dozen people in the bathroom with you to make sure nothing happens. 

I purchased the Daphne Bath Seat as it came very highly recommended from many friends from Childish Notions (www.childishnotions.com).    I was reluctant – I have to admit.  And so bath time came.  I was sweating and nervous.  Within seconds I was amazed at how easy this cute little contraption was.  There he lay comfortably in a seat that was secure and he had no chance of getting out of  unless he was Harry Houdini (and I still think he would have troubles). 

The angle he lay at was perfect for washing his hair without water pouring into his delicate little eyes and it gave him enough coverage in the bathtub that his body wasn’t exposed to the air making him chilly.  He was perfectly happy and perfectly cozy.  He loved kicking around, and being able to see all of the fun toys surrounding him.  I was surprised when 10 minutes had passed and I was really enjoying myself as much as him. The seat is fasted by suction cups to the bottom of the tub for extra security and his head was very will supported giving me completely comfort.  I was able to use both hands while washing him, which makes bath time much easier!
