Canadian Momz is run by Amber Hewitt, a Canadian WAHM of two beautiful boys, Parker and Ashton. Amber also owns Swanky Moms (a hip mom community, directory and blog) and wanted to offer her Canadian customers something more localized and there wasn’t a hip Canadian resource website for us Canadian Moms, until now!

I’ve always loved writing. In school I would ask the teacher for extra assignments. As you can imagine I wasn’t too popular in English class. And I love being a mom. My son Tyler is 16-months old and is the love of my life. When he wakes up in the morning yelling Mama, I know I have a great reason to get out of bed. I’m one of those moms that will try anything once. I love trying new products, services and gimmicks. I know, I’m setting myself up here for all those telemarketers just waiting to call me now, but I truly believe you have to give most everything a chance. As a first time mom, Tyler is my guinea pig for all of the toys, clothes and programs that we try out on a day to day basis. He’s a great sport and never complains. Sometimes I know he must be overwhelmed when I’m showing him a dozen toys all at once, while at the same time giving him his very own personal taste test of 6 different yogurt brands. So what better way to express my experiences than to share them with you - other moms.
